Viral Vibrator — Should You Buy It?
I LOVE sex toys, but I HATE spending the money on something that may or may not be worth it. I’m skeptical of Amazon reviews or even reviews on the selling website. I know some of the reviews are paid for and that leaves me questioning every good review I read for a product.
Women’s pleasure and sexuality are coming to the forefront after being ignored for centuries. About damn time. I am going to explore sex toys targeted toward women. I want to see if they are worth it or if it’s just a product exploiting our journey to rediscovering our pleasure.
The Rose Toy has been showing up on almost all social media platforms. I see women raving about it, but hear about how the wives of my husband’s coworkers were saying it’s too intense. My curiosity was peaked at this point. Is this toy great, trash, or user error?
Price
$39.00 on Rose Clitoral Stimulator Vibrator
I bought mine from a different website for $37.99. I won’t be linking the website, because the seller had terrible communication.
Waterproof
The product description claimed to be waterproof. I would say it’s more water resistant. After my first time using it, I washed and dried it immediately. The next time I went to use it, I noticed the magnets on the bottom used for the magnetic charging had some rust developing around them.
Speeds
It has whopping 10 speeds. I would say that’s a nice variety. I have listed and tried to describe each speed to the best of my ability, below.
Key:
- * = quick pulse
- - = slightly longer pulse
- ~ = long pulse
- __ = no vibration
Intensity
This thing packs a punch. Depending on your needs and wants that can be a good or bad thing. Using myself as an example, on the lowest setting it was great at getting me close to orgasm quickly, but right when I was on the edge of euphoria, it got so strong I lost it. Talk about frustrating. I noticed that to be more of an issue using the toy while simultaneously having sex. However, while masturbating, it wasn’t as bad. Because of that, this is the only toy so far, that I enjoyed using one of the patterned speed settings.
Design
- It’s compact. Not like a bullet compact, but the size of a tennis ball. The small size comes in handy if you’re using it while having sex or receiving oral. It won’t be in the way as much as the average sized vibrator would be.
- The petal design on the end where you would place it against yourself is well thought out. It keeps the lubricant (your own or not) centralized in the wanted area. I won’t lie, I thought it would make it difficult to clean, but it doesn’t.
- The charging could use some re-engineering. It is magnetic charging, but you have to line the magnets up perfectly with the charging base. I think a single, wider magnet on the bottom would be better.
I used this toy a few times in a few different scenarios before making a call on it. I used it during sex with foreplay, during sex without foreplay and during masturbation. It’s a fun toy to use to change things up for masturbation. It won’t be my go to, to use during sex. This may be good for someone who needs or wants more intense stimulation. This could also be a great toy for a pleasure dom or for teasing foreplay. Overall, I wouldn’t spend the $40. You could spend the same amount of money on a more promising toy.
